Yeah, we’re still doin’ our thang, putting in the work on three new songs. If there’s anything I like more than two new song, it’s three new songs.

For those of you planning on checking us out at Rockit Room… STOP! Show has been canceled. Apparently the owner knew the women Jimmy killed, and the fact that Confusion Said wrote a song detailing the act only infuriated him.

But, May 1st is still on for Sacramento.

And to think Steve was gonna call it after one song. No dice! Thanks String Theory, Euphonic Quazar, Full Funky Gorilla, and to everybody that came out and stayed out on a Sunday night. I gotta start taking pictures.

We’re playing Necropolis in Old Sac this Sunday night with Euphonic Quazar; great band with a lot of energy.

So they heard Confusion Said was coming and flew into a state of panic!
Not really sure what happened there, but not a problem. Confusion Said, “Go up the road to Placerville. There you will find the Cosmic Cafe, and on Friday February 19th, there you will play.”

She cheered proudly with a smile, “Pants on the ground! Pants on the ground! Lookin’ like a fool with your pants on the ground!” Steve stood with clinched fists and a grind to his teeth as a deep, sleeping rage had overcome him, flooding his brain with violent tendencies. A rage that had not seen the light of day since the last Vikings choke party of ‘98. With a cold, dead stare into her callous eyes he muttered, “I will see you in hell.”

Friday, January 29th, Confusion Said returns to Roosters Roadhouse in Alameda.

Steve has some anger to release in the form of measure and melody.

Who’s next? The Fire Escape in Citrus Heights.  Friday, January 16th, Confusion Said will be back at The Fire Escape to give proof to the machine once again. This time Confusion Said is sharing the stage with String Theory, Prylosis, and In Deep.

We just hit the studio recorded our latest creation, “Zuzu’s Petals”. We’ll have new music up for you soon. Keep checking in.

Sunday the 13th, We’ll be at Necropolis in Old Sacramento. Also playing: The Flesh Hammers, String Theory, and Illogical Beats.

So a couple of weeks ago Pete tried the “Live Wire” trick and caught fire. Apparently he was standing too close to the generator and sparked his hand ablaze. Don’t worry though. Pete is a trooper. Like Steve said, “Just rub some dirt on it, you’ll be okay.”

June 6th- Mic’s Productions presents the 2nd Annual Feather River Rock Festival! This is a benefit concert for the Butte County Library. Confusion Said will be performing live along with March Into Paris, Drawn From The Effect, G9, and local youth sensation Random Sparxx. Show starts at 12pm at the Bedrock Park Amphitheatre located at Arlin Rhine Dr. and 5th Street in Oroville Ca. We got some new stuff for your ears! We’re also gonna hook up Pete to some giant helium balloons. I think we can get him off the ground this time. See you there and Pete in the air!

With Pete at bass, we are continuing to produce a steady flow of new songs. We have just completed a new piece and we’re starting yet another one this week. Other than that, we are still looking for a bass player. We’ve been auditioning daily searching the hills, the valley and the bay. We will find a winner, or we’ll find another way. We already have a back up plan in effect. No matter what, we’ll be back again this summer.

No, don’t get the wrong idea. Confusion Said is here to stay. But unfortunately Josh is not.

After several meetings and talks with Josh about his future in and outside the band, we (Confusion Said) and Josh have decided yesterday that a commitment of this magnitude was not for him. We wish Josh the best in his future decisions and goals. Confusion Said, “Life cannot be taught. It must be lived.”

With that being said, we are continuing with the cause, as it is our purpose in life. We are currently auditioning bass players, and recording just as we had before. Saturday November 22nd, Confusion Said is playing at Chris’ Club in Vallejo. Also playing- Cloakwheel, Takilma, and MSU! A lot o’ bloody music and good times most definitely!
Also, in about nine months, Josh will be moving on to parenthood. All Hail Josh! So, if you or someone you know plays bass, we will be holding open auditions starting the 24th of November. We will still be booking gigs in the meantime, but we plan for what lies ahead.

Pigg’s Club knows how to host a party for live music. I personally don’t care for dancing, but once I heard and FELT the music pumping at that volume, I had to get stupid. In a place like Pigg’s Club you can’t help but sound good. Simply incredible! We thank you for allowing us to spread the word of Confusion Said.

We’d also like to thank Dog Food in joining us for a night of music and bleeding ears! God Damn! Fu*k *hit!

We’re done screwin’ around, back to serious business. we’ve added two shows to our calendar- Oct. 16th in Vacaville, and Nov. 22nd in Vallejo. We’ll be doing new material for your listening pleasure. Also, Josh has offered to suck on a live wire for your entertainment. He will need your encouragement, so come out show that you support his self-harm policy!

It looks like we’ll be slowin’ things down a bit this month as far as shows go. We have babies to carry and cats to bury. We’ll be raising our ugly heads sometime mid September. Keep an eye out.

Due to Labor Day weekend, Confusion Said felt it would be best if they spent the weekend in San Francisco and play the Retox Lounge on Sunday Aug. 31st. Thank you for you time.

Engineers Without Borders is a non-profit organization established to help developing areas worldwide with their engineering needs.
